SHAME WILL DESTROY YOUR DESTINY

AUGUST 3 DAILY READING

Todays verse is Romans 6:21...read below
21 What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of?
Those things result in death!

That is a pretty tough verse and question... Do you have a particular situation that you're ashamed of?

SHAME will destroy your destiny.
God gets right to the heart of the matter through the word of God.

I struggled with the area of SHAME for several years. I held myself in bondage and death due to my past stains and pains.

SHAME restrains us from vision and hope.
Although, none of us started well in certain areas of our lives, we can all finish well.

Thanks to GOD, He remains committed to our welfare and fills the area where we are weak or lack competence. I personally know that our past can weaken our lives.

Because of our fallen human state, everyone has three fundamental needs in this world:

1. TO BELIEVE:
All human hearts need to have
   faith in something or someone.
   What to you believe in?

2. TO BELONG
   All human hearts need to
   experience community, unity and
   family.
Do you have a church family
   that you belong to?

3. TO BECOME:
All human hearts need to grow,
   stretch, and reach their
   potential.

I remember a time when I was just living life yet feeling so DEAD inside. I began to search out some truths about God and began to BELIEVE in the gift of God and the eternal life in Christ Jesus.

God wants you to overcome the past through His grace and relationship, not guilt and religious ritual. People want to follow a leader who offers hope and direction.

Your church home needs to be a great fun place educating your family about their future and providing wise counsel.

Only God can revolutionize our lives and transform our past.

The book of Romans teaches us that we need God. Without the source of Gods power we deny empowerment, direction, discernment, confirmation and peace.

Do you struggle with areas of your past?
God wants to step in and direct, empower and change your heart.

Talking and dealing about our past can be a sticky situation. My desire it to move your heart past what seems to be sticking deeply and depriving you personally in life. Gods truth has a way of bumping into your reality and messing with your heart!

God wants to move and motivate you through your past and into a healthy present.

I pray you become more motivated to seek God my friend. Take a look at today's reading by clicking above. As you read the book of Romans allow God to challenge your heart.
