I am an ordinary gal desiring to live an "extra"ordinary life in Christ!
I live in Livonia, Michigan with my amazing husband Dan and three charming children; Benjamin, Brittni, and Alivia... all keeping life lively and full of laughter. Buddy, Bella and Colby the family's chocolate lab and 2 teacup Chihuahuas also make for interesting dynamics!
I hold a Bachelors degree from Central Michigan University and previously worked in mental health as a Licensed Therapeutic Specialist. However, after I crossed the line of faith and God grabbed a hold of my heart, I had a life-changing twist that had me heading in a new direction.
I became a licensed minister in February 2011 and I will be furthering my education and knowledge in many specific areas which are challenging and emerging today. I am also an active member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. This offers practical assistance and cutting edge resources that keep me informed and moving forward in my calling. I am in AWE of how God has networked my life through all my studies, relationships and past experiences. Today, I am God-Ordained and use my speaking and teaching passions to minister to others and lead them to the door of their destiny.
HB Ministries was born in 2010 and God uses this ministry to open doors for all types of people in all walks of life.
I am thankful for my husband whom supports and pushes me toward my future dreams!
I remain driven and called to connect with people on every level. Often I am told that my bold, exciting, and contagious personality has inspired many to move forward in their adventure with faith. I am grateful that my energetic spirit is contagious!
I have a passion to motivate the immovable and encourage the brokenhearted. I believe every person is like a book written by God. I love to read the stories and see God's plan of destiny being told page by page.
Some of my other passions in life are running with my husband and training for races throughout the year. We're currently training for the 2014 Detroit Marathon! This will be my second Big race!
I enjoy eating popcorn and watching movies late at night with my children and going on random last minute adventures!
I feel like a success in my everyday life if I get through the day having spent time with the Lord, exercised in some way, had a laugh with one of my kids!
I crave challenges and thrill seeking adventures. Most winters you will find me snowboarding in the mountains with my family. I enjoy our family ski trips which include playing games, wonderful dinners, full body massages in the ski lodge and then ending every evening sitting by a glowing fire.
In the summer I am most likely poolside with a great book that always inspires my faith and calling or I am at the family lake house making unforgettable memories!
Wake boarding, tubing and fishing are at the top!
My yearly journal holds a special place in my heart and I am often up late, believing big with God...pen and paper in hand.
Gardening, cooking, shopping, traveling, and studying the bible are on the top of my list!
My number one passion is looking for the opportunities God gives me to INVIGORATE the faith in others by traveling and speaking.
