DREAM BUSTERS

God says in Isaiah "Behold I will do a new thing... Do you not know it?" I love that God is always dreaming up new things for our lives! But we are the ones that always miss what he is doing or we do not even know it! We all have DREAM BUSTERS! They BUST every opportunity for our preferred future! How do we push past them and keep diving into all God has for us! This last message I spoke at the 2010 Dream Conference will enlighten you! Keep DREAMING never give up on those desires! I hope I know this will help you become aware of your dream busters and then energize you to blaze past the busters in your life! Keep those dreams alive! Do Not Miss What God has for you! Do not stay stuck in your circumstances!

I am thinking of doing a bible study on line, I would love feedback to who would be interested! This would be a neat time to interact with everyone from all over!
Have a great day friends and talk to you soon!

"LETTING GO AND LAYING DOWN" Message 3 of the Big Dream conference Speaker Heather Baxter

This was the biggest revelation for me in 2010~ In Exodus chapter 4 verse 2 God says to Moses "What is that in your hand?" Moses said "A rod" And He said "cast it on the ground." So Moses cast it on the ground. This rod was a huge part of Moses identity. The rod identified him as shepherd. He worked for his father n law as a shepherd boy. When he was asked to lay that down, he was laying down everything he knew for that season in his life. Little did he know that God was going to transform him and use his rod in huge ways! The same rod that directed sheep was going to split the red sea!
How often do we get stuck in our identity and its so comfortable that we cannot see past our comfort zone. Gods dreams are always bigger. But in order to experience the miracles we have to let go and lay down. Do you need to let go of the past? Do you need to lay down fears and failures? Do you need to let go of your current identity? God is always up to doing new things and transforming for new miracles but if you never lay down you will never experience what lays ahead! The laying down and letting go can sometimes be the hardest thing you will ever do!
But your split sea moment is around the corner!
Enjoy this message and let me know how God used this message in your life!
Love ya friends
Heather

HOW TO KNOW IF YOUR MAKING THE RIGHT DECISION Message 2 from the Dream Conference!

We all make decisions on a daily basis with immediate and long term consequences. The BEST decision is a WISE one. God wants to direct us and our every step. The bible offers us guidance on many issues in our daily lives. But yet the bible appears silent in many lives. God has a treasure for you personally. He wants to give you full understanding and direction for your situation. He desires that you seek and go on a treasure hunt and search for the hidden treasure. Proverbs 2:4-5 "If you seek(wisdom) as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasure; then you will understand the fear of the Lord"
It all begins with a willing commitment and it will end with exciting discoveries!
The second message from the DREAM conferance taught by Carole Combs will help you discover how to start searching for the treasure! It is a practical 7 day plan that you can apply today. It will help you make the right decision in your life. Remember all our decisions have a concequence. Are you getting ready to make big decision in your life? Do you want to be in the middle of Gods dream for you life? Come journey with us as we go thru the Dream conference together! Please let me kmnow how God is speaking to you as your comments are always a huge blessing to me and others.

Tomorrows lesson is on "laying down and letting go" So God can interrupt our life!
Blessings friends

Salt - January 23, 2010 - A Seven Day Plan to Finding the Will of God

DREAM BIG CONFERENCE AND DEVOTIONAL

True Faith demands that we Activate our Faith. It all starts with a GOD DREAM! The bible is full of stories of many people in whom God dreamed Big for. Their destiny determined anothers destination.
Moses was going to be a leader, split a sea and set the captives free, Noah was asked to make a boat out of gopher wood, Joseph had dreams that placed him in line with Gods plans, Lastly, God had a dream to save the world through His son Jesus!
Do you believe in God size dreams? Do you believe God wants to guide you and bless you through a God sized dream?
The first thing you need to do is make a CHOICE/DECISION to believe bigger then your circumstances. You need to see the DREAM! Now after you make a choice to believe and obey you may run into some DELAYS, DOUBTS and DISCOURAGEMENTS that seem to lead to another DEAD END. But remember when you make a Choice it then becomes about the CLIMB. So often we just want to get to the top or the other side in a hurry but its not about that!
You will face struggles and chances and be knocked down but these are the moments that God does His biggest work. It is very important to not take your eyes off the Dream. In the end God will DELIVER and you will experience your TA DA moment!
God is all about DELIVERING you into the Dream He is preparing for you!
I hope you enjoy the first teaching to the Dream Big conference!
Let me know what dreams you have for 2010, I want to climb alongside you and be an encouragement. I know it can be scarey and hard at times!
Blessings and keep dreaming!
Heather

NEW YEAR WITH A NEW ADVENTURE!

Happy New Years to my friends and family, New years is a time to realize more then any other time in our lives that we can never go back.....but we are standing on the edge of new opportunities! God is holding our futures in His hands and He will lead gently lead us, if we let Him!
God holds each of our dreams and destinations. Deuteronomy 11:7 shoes us that the Lord has a destination for us in 2010 it states " A land or destination which the Lord cares; the eyes of the Lord your GOd are always on it, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year"
On new years day, I spent some time with my two girls teaching them about DREAMS! We arecurrently on a family ski trip at Boyne. We decided to go sit up in the mountains and talk about Gods dreams and destinations for our lives. Its never to late or to early to learn how to DREAM and get in line with Gods plans for your life. I want to teach my girls and son to go on adventures with God! He will take you places you never could have imagined by going down paths you never knew existed!
It is all about those divine detours in 2010~ Its important not to not to focus on our wrongs in the past , you won't have energy left for kingdom dreams! Alot of times or plans have to fail in order for Gods plans to succeed!
I know my girls are young but as we sat in the mountains they took their dream journals out and asked God to help them Dream like daughters of the KING! He will lead my girls in the best paths, because they simlpy "asked", I want them to be deteremined to pursue GOD-ORDAINED passions until they day they die!
I am excited about the New year. It will consist of alot of CHANGES for our family. We are prepared for God to disrupt the routine of our lives. When God wants us to expereince a change in perspective, He often does it via change in scenery. The BAXTER FAMILY IS GOING ON AN ADVENTURE IN 2010,we will be moving......A CHANGE OF PACE AND A CHANGE OF PLACE WILL EQUAL A CHANGE OF PERSPECTIVE.
Its so easy to focus on what God wants to do through us that we neglect what God wants to do in us! The Lord has something to teach Heather in 2010.
God told Moses in the book of Exodus to "Throw down His staff to the ground" A shepherds staff was a six foot wooden rod that was curved at the end. It funtioned as a walking stick, a weapon, a prod to guide his flock. The staff symbolized his security, it was part of his identity (a shepherd), his title, his job and his relational security because he worked for his father n law!
Has GOd ever called you to throw something down???? IT can be hard to let go and lay down. It feels like you are letting go of your future and plans. It feels like you are loosing what is important for to you. But this is when you discover who you really are! When you lay down an old identity in 2010 you will discover a new identity! If Moses held onto his staff he would not have experienced all the new miricals! Where do we find our identity? in a title? paycheck? ministry? a degree? a name? There is nothing wrong with these things as long as you can "throw them down" What is the staff that God wants you to trow down in 2010? Can you do it?
I promise God has new miricales for you! I know he has great things for me and my family and I am excited to always be on an adventure with God!
Throw down your staff, come out of the cage and DISCOVER the adventure on the far side of routine!
I will continue to blog my adventure in 2010~please stay connected with me on this blog,I love to hear from you! I am going to miss my friends, church and ministry but God has asked me to lay some things down and I am not to pick it up until He commands! Things will become new for me and my family!
Happy New Year
Heather Baxter!

Isaiah 43:18 "Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old, Behold, I will do a new thing!"

"The will of God will invovle a daring decision that seems unsafe or even insane. But if you have the guts to climb the cliff, the wild goose(holy spirit) will meet you at the the top" this came from a great book called The Wild Goose Chase by Mark Batterson, I highly suggest this book for your 2010 reading along with The bible!

Look forward to seeing you at "DICOVER THE DREAM" CONFERENCE January 23 10am-3pm

My Christmas Present!

WOW It has been awhile since I last blogged. I have been trying to ponder and catch up on the many changes going on in my life! But all for Good!
I have been up early and up late the last few months pondering many things. I just seem stuck in a certain thought. The thought of Christmas and who this amazing baby Jesus really is and What He has done for my life so far. I have been trying to wrap my mind around what Mary must have thought and felt the first time she KISSED her baby Jesus, The very Face of GOD!
God then sweetly reminded me that as I ponder the past, present and future of my life, I also have had many opportunities to look upon the sweet face of baby Jesus. For His precious Face has showed up in so many situations in my personal life this past year.
I shared a message this past year to many women, this has been one of my favorite messages for 2009, It constantly rings in my mind and heart. The message was titled "HAS HOPE FOUND YOU"? As I reflect upon the Christmas story, I realize even more that HOPE was born on Christmas Morning for me! I began to think "Who in this world does not need HOPE"? HOPE was born to help us cope with families, marriages, health, finances, jobs, churches and ministries! I sure need every bit of HOPE I can get! LOL!
I have experinced HOPE "The sweet face of baby Jesus" in so many areas of my life this past year and desiring it so much more in my journey for the New Year.

Romans 8:24-25 states "For we are saved in this HOPE, but HOPE that is seen is not HOPE, for why does one still HOPE for what he sees? but if we HOPE for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance"

Christ came to help us take our eyes off of what we see everyday and bring it into a new perspective or may I say NEW focus! HOPE was born on Christmas morning, but I have just realized how many times I have celebrated Christmas "the birth of HOPE" in my personal life this year! He has had many gifts for me this year. I have opened His presence of Hope many times. Each gift was so precious to me and perfect in timing!
I wanted to share some Presents of HOPE that I received and unwrapped this year

HOPE reminded me that He will never disappoint you, HOPE encourages,
HOPE will Stop you in your tracks and Help you, HOPE will find you when you are in need, HOPE will save you, your marriage and your dreams, HOPE will send you in a NEW direction, HOPE will guide you, HOPE will help you rise again when you have been knocked down, HOPE opens your eyes to see with a new, fresh perspective, HOPE strengthens you, HOPE enables you to continue despite the struggles, HOPE stretches you, HOPE sends you past your comfort zone, HOPE helps you enter the "unknowns",(A place I will be traveling too in 2010) HOPE inspires your mind to understand what the truth really is, HOPE challenges you, HOPE teaches you how to dream, HOPE creates an opportunity thru your disappointments,HOPE opens doors for you, HOPE satisfies you!

This my friends is what we celebrate this Christmas! I pray your Christmas is full of the realization of how truely miraculous baby Jesus really is! May he fill your life with many presents of HOPE this year, He knows exactly what you need and when you need to open it! May HOPE find you in the NEW YEAR~

Merry Christmas
Love Heather

I am so excited to share with you some of the speakers from the most recent womens conference! The theme of the weekend was "Wonder Women" In Psalms 139:14 it says You are fearfully and wonderfully made! MARVELOUS are your works!
MARVELOUS means supernatural! Isaiah 29:14 tells us that He will do a MARVELOUS work and a wonder! well, let me tell you, that makes me a woman of wonder..........I desire to see GOD do the supernatural things in my life. How about you?

In caroles message you will learn that "YOU ARE A WONDERFUL MASTERPIECE" She will help you connect the dots with the color and splashes of life one at a time. I pray you desire to stick with the canvas God has created for your life!
I will post a devotional and new message all thru this week!
Have a great week friends!

The Woman Beneath the Cape! Speaker Annita Harless

Being a Wonder Woman does not mean we are expected to lead a perfect life. Life can weigh us down so quickly and lead us to very discouraging days. On these days we do not feel wonderful or fearfully and wonderfully made.We feel stripped and robbed. We have a hard time giving control over to God and "Letting go and letting God." Annita shares her personal testimony in the middle of her message about growing up in a home that she tried desperately to control but it left her more out of control! We as woman tend wear our Cape well and hide all our bondage, fear and anger under that cape. We keep everything hidden and create an illusion of perfectionism. The Lord is always seeking after us waiting for us to surrender our capes. He then begins to clothe us in His cape of righteousness and strength! He helps us leap over walls of anger and hurt. Psalm 18:20 says "And by my God Have I leaped over a wall" Friends, allow God to fill you with His super powers. Take the cape of self pride off, It will not get you over any of those big walls! May you be renewed through Annita's story and her faith!
God bless you sisters and have a great week!
